LDRS 23 Cert Sign-Up  

Cesaroni Technology Inc. (CTI) and Star Rocketry are proud to announce their support of NAR and Tripoli Rocketry Association Level I, II and III high power rocket certification attempts at this year's LDRS 23 event to be held at Geneseo, NY.  Ground support equipment, loaner motor hardware and FREE standard fuel grain will be provided to the first two attempts in each level each day from 1 Jul 04 through 4 Jul 04.

To participate in the HyperTEK free certification motor program, flyers must comply with all applicable TRA, NAR and LDRS event rules.  This includes Level II written tests, Level III TAP approval and approval by the LDRS committee for Level III flights.  You must be at the necessary level to attempt the certification flight (i.e. you must already be at Level I to reserve a motor for a Level II flight, Level II for Level III etc.).

Hardware available for loan will include the 21.5 inch long 300cc 54mm I motor system, the 24.2 inch long 440cc 54mm J motor system and the 44.8 inch long 3500cc 98mm &  55.3 inch long 4630cc 98mm M motor systems.  All HyperTEK powered rockets require electronic recovery deployment.  You will have to purchase the N2O from the LDRS 23 launch coordinators, Star Rocketry will not be selling N2O.

the motor configuration you are interested in,
your NAR or TRA membership number and level,
your rocket's length,
diameter,
weight and
name and
the day you want to fly. 
If you find that you will not be able to fly, please notify me immediately so that someone else may have a chance.

If for some reason you damage the motor system due to a crash, etc, you will have to purchase the motor system. This has only happened once in three years and that was due to a non HyperTEK motor retention system failure.
